I have a passion for brewing beers that tell a story… Whether it’s in the names, the brewing process or in the ingredients. My collaboration with our Chef, Brett, tells a story too. Our flagship beers are integrated into our regular menu items adding depth and flavor. But it’s in our working together on the weekend specials and Beer Dinners that our creativity really comes out. Before they’re released, we spend time carefully tasting the seasonals, barrel-aged and specialty beers and discussing what new creations the kitchen can produce around them. Our craft beer, the menu, the people who come here… all of this goes into the mix that makes Old Rail a special place with a special story.
When it comes to creating our menu, the beers we brew here on–site are a big influence. We integrate our regular beers into sauces and gravies, and using seasonal beer as an ingredient in some of our dishes makes their flavors more complex. My collaboration with Brett is best experienced at our Beer Dinners or ordering from our weekend specials menu. Our handcrafted beers are paired with dishes to really create a unique tasting experience for our guests.
