Hobo Helles German Lager

German Helles style lagers are traditionally brewed with sort of simplicity in mind. Less is more. So we took a note from the Hobo’s life on the rails and packed lightly. One malt and one hop both of German origin finished with a clean traditional German Lager yeast.

Clean, Crisp, Malty, Medium Body, Dry Clean Lager Finish
ABV: 5.1% IBU: 19 Color: Gold/Yellow

Old Rail Dopplebock

Our dopplebock was brewed with a double decoction mash where we remove a portion of the mash, run it through its rests, and bring it to a boil to caramelize the wort. This traditional German brewing method is difficult and time consuming but adds to the depth and character of the beer. Look for a soft yet intense malt complexity and smooth soft alcohol presence. Notes of toasty bread, caramel, and dark fruit (raisin/plum).

The Secrets That We Shared NEIPA

Enigma, Mosaic, and Denali hops dominate this New England IPA (NEIPA). Multiple additions over several days deliver a massive and intense hop aroma and flavor covering all the citrus and tropical notes typically found in the style. Hoppy and Hazy and simply satisfying.

Train Graffiti NEIPA

Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops kick it off in the whirlpool and massive amounts of Citra follow in the dry hop to the tune of 6+ pounds per barrel. A massive pillowy, velvet, cream like texture is the backbone that finishes rather dry. Citra easily dominates.

It is soothing, restful, relaxing…it is meant for sessions in the pub with friends.” Those are the words of the late great English beer writer Michael Jackson and the vibe we set out to capture in our ESB. No frills here just a good ole pint of “Bitter”. Maris Otter and English Caramel Malts meld with East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops.

Like stouts? This is your beer. Don’t like Stouts? This is your beer. Don’t let the color fool you this beer is incredibly smooth, rich, delicate, and sessionable. Loads of organic Cocoa nibs from Ecuador contribute the nutty dark chocolate notes while various roasted malts fill in with additional complexity. Milk sugar adds a smooth creamy sweet body which pulls the rich malt/chocolate flavor together. Hop character is slim to none with bittering additions added for balance.
